July TBR

So last month wasn’t the most productive in terms of reading… yeah, we got two books read ladies and gents. Hopefully July will go better. There are 5 books on this TBR so 4 books and a graphic novel. Let’s go.

The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge

I’ve actually already started this one and I’m enjoying it. It’s a historical fantasy book which I rarely read. The story is about Faith and her family who flee to an island, trying to hide from the father’s scandal.

 

Origin and Opposition by Jennifer L Armentrout

I threw these both in together because they are the 4^th and 5^th book in the same series. The Lux series is about Katy and how her life is turned upside down when her neighbours aren’t all that they seem.             

                                                                           

To Kill A Mockingbird , the graphic novel written by Harper Lee and illustrated by Fred Fordham

So I forgot I had this book. It go kinda buried in my TBR pile but I’m so happy I found it. To Kill a Mockingbird follows Scout Finch and her growing up in Maycomb during the Great Depression. This book does contain themes of racism so if you don’t want to read about that this may well not be for you.

 

Aristotle and Donte Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

I don’t know a huge amount about this book. I know Aristotle has anger issues and I believe that this has LGBT aspects and it’s a road trip but other than that I have no clue. It’ll be cool to see how this turns out.
